The new heaven & the new earth are already, this i'm sure you know, for just as we pass from death to Life, so also we pass into the new heaven and the new earth. What I do believe that is a crying shame is false teachings on the Rapture, the rapture happens at the point of death....then into New Life & a new heavenly body. My Christ Jesus dwell in you richly.
