Very well made, nicely done! I was in Yanbu and attended YIS from 96-2000 and can completely relate to everything the people in this video talked about: being so intimately connected with everyone, being very secluded, and especially the depression that comes with having to move on to a bigger, uglier world. I for some time was convinced that the city had some kind of mystical properties and wrote a story for my magical realism class based on it :)

very good
i think it is a nice city
Thank u
seems so weird to see kristen in the vid... LOL
and its weird to see all the ppl with 80's hair-do's in the very same classrooms i was in, like, where'd U guys come from? the interviewees r from too far back, yanbus not that same place anymore. and i dont like the ominous background music, other than that, teh vids pretty decent
i remember on the last day of school, how theyd call all the ppl who'd be leaving forever onto the stage, n EVRYONE wud start crying.

@Majormockery151 thanks for your comments :) - the music was royalty free, I think that's why I chose it ;) ha, but yes, it does sound ominous. The interviews were from 2004... a lot of the people were talking about Yanbu in the early 90s. It seems like a lot has changed. When I first made this video, YouTube wasn't around, I posted it on some random sites back then, but just finally realized I never posted it on YouTube.
It was so sad when we left the country back in '93! I cried a lot too!
