No its nothing like barbie cos its far better besides the original barbie show started in the 50s where as jem was the 80s and shes far better at singing

Jem was the OTHER cartoon made for girls that guys watched along with She-Ra...at least whenever He-Man guest starred.
As for Jem. I had such a crush on Kimber! Then there was an episode where she had a twin!! *sigh!

Yeah, they changed it when Rhino had the rights to the series and they put it out on DVD.

@FaytLinegod really? i still have my video cassettes and tv recordings of jem, this theme was first. but i could be wrong, i watched this in the 90s.
