His real name is Pierre Garand. Garou is his nickname and derives from the French expression "loup-garou", which means "werewolf" and is a transformation of "Garand", his last name. I personally think he is awesome. Daniel Lavoie too. Patrick - well, all who know me know what my thoughts are on him. MMMMMM!!!!
