Colin Hay showcasing the faithful old Rode NT3 microphone, playing the old signature tune from his Men At Work Days.

(I use the NT3 myself. It's a good mic!)

  • @guitarslinger75 As far as I figured it out its a drop d tuning. So strings A to high e are all normal, only low E is tuned down a whole step down.

  • @rootvalue Yes they're great mics. The M2 is also a lovely mic for the money. I'm looking at trying the S1 as well. They last two are hand held condensers. I can get the S1 for less than AU$300, the NT3 for $264 and the M2 for $155.

  • @mandolinroad Yes, and this one hasn't got "Kookaburra Sits in the Old Gum Tree" as part of the tune. How stupid were the courts for finding Men At Work guilty of plagiarism.

  • This microphone sounds hundreds of dollars more expensive. Thank you for the video!

  • is this tuned a whole step down any help would be awesome

  • @vinnothelizard I've seen some of your other comments. It must be difficult going through life ignorant, mean spirited, and unfunny.

  • is this idiots hair dyed??

  • @superhawk23... I'm going to see him at the Old Rock House in St. Louis May 4th. I can't wait. Colin has really found his niche...acoustic solo, insuring his audience the chance to observe his subtle genius with full attention.
