I LOVE YOU PETRA

Trevligt! =D
I see your point, and it is a valid one, but I believe the original poster was referring to September being Swedish and most likely the producers of the song being Swedish as well (for the record - I don't know if they are). The mere fact that the language used in the song is English has little to do with the 'origins' of the song.
The pop-genre is quite universal and lacks the ethnic connections one thinks of when hearing 'African music' and 'Irish music'. =)

@minustwelve haha i know i am swedish.. :P
But this aint ''swedish'' music.... it doesnt have any swedish words nor anything swedish in it...
If an African sings Irish music does that make it African music?
-
Dunno if you'll see this or agree, but SuperEngla called it 'Swedish music' because Petra "September" Marklund is Swedish and began her career in her homeland.

September is a true professional.
Good luck on bringing Stockholm partying spirit to Miami - two cities everyone around the World loves.
However, September, trust who you are. Please teach the World Swedish; "Mikrofonkåt" is who you are:)
Long live Swedish kättja:)
