Ipod Touch & Ustream Problems.............HELP !!!!, Advice needed !!

For some strange reason the ustream viewing app wont work on the new 3g ipod touch 32 Gb models, but will on the new 8 Gb ?????????

I have scoured the internet for a solution but to no avail.

I exchanged the first 32 GB for another to rule out the possibility of a faulty unit.

If anyone else is having this issue please let me know.

I just bought the 32gb last week and when i tried to view a broadcast it tries to connect but won't load no matter how long i wait

yep and theres still no bloody update from ustream for the app :(

based on what I have read in the apple support forums, its a known issue for the newest ipod touch (32GB). Apparently there is an update in the works, but hasn't been released yet...sorry =(

I went with the 120GB Ipod Classic for the large capacity, and no touch screen means there is nothing really to go wrong with it.

The Problems that I have had with mine are related to file tagging, artwork, and location.

The 32GB one looks different, have you got a case over it, or a different colour?

I'm guessing you've checked the Firmware is up to date in ITunes?

yep Its a protective rubber case on the 32.

i have reset the 32 via itunes twice to its original factory settings and all the latest software & firmware is installed 3.1.2 .

I had the same probleme ... Connect it and press the Home button and the Sleep Button 10 second and release the sleep (continue pressing home !) and touding the sound is here !

yea they just updated it, it works find on the ipod touch 3g now yayyyyyy!!!!

@debbagain I don't believe it's a CODEC problem. If you run another game app like paper toss before running ustream you will notice that remnants of the game show up where the video should be. What this tells me is 32gb Itouch must handle memory different with respect to games. I.E. where it points too when it reads back the video memory. The limited memory space in the 8bg model must share memory between apps. Who ever wrote the app just needs to set the pointer correctly in the 32gb model.
