The double CD CCMIX: Electroacoustic Music from Paris contains this track (full version), "Mycenae Alpha", plus a selection from other artists, including two pieces from Brigitte Robindoré that really deserve a wider audience.

@LackingLack0 There are many reasons. Maybe they have never heard any Xenakis pieces and wanted to see what he was about. Maybe they haven't heard this particular one. Maybe they've heard it but think it sounds terrible compared to a different version. Maybe they were looking up videos on polytopes and stumbled across this. Maybe they were looking up Cluny and stumbled on it. Maybe they saw a link to it from a blog or another video. Don't get so bent up over it.

La labor de poetas y artistas de vanguardia consiste en "anticipar" o "predecir" acontecimientos . Por tanto su sincronizacion creadora no necesariamente esta en sintonia con las mentes acostumbradas a otros canones esteticos, hasta que llega el tiempo. Hoy dia (medio siglo despues de esta obra) es dable escuchar sonidos similares en paginas de Internet dedicadas a captar y reproducir los mensajes de los satelites artificiales y los sonidos de la naturaleza cosmica circundante.
