Absolutely not. That's not what I'm saying. I will drink a European beer any day of the week, and I know I could be trying a new one every day for the next many years and not be left wanting. But Budweiser has US roots and when they sold to InBev I saw it as the company betraying those roots to be associated with some of the great European beers. Europe has a lot of great beers, but I think Bud should have continued to cultivate their roots. Now, in my mind, they're just another beer

I don't understand how they are "selling out"? So European beers shouldn't advertise in the states? Americans' shouldn't drink other countries' beers?

I would say it's more trying to defame one type of beer for selling out to it's own selfish interests than it is to promote a particular beer, but if you think I'm getting royalties or something I don't know what to tell you.
