@ultima209 too many japanese customs? this movie had a lot of real mongolian customs in it, much better than anyone else who tried making a movie about the mongols.

I just watched this movie and I i gotta say, the acting sucked. It felt like i was watching samurais trying to be steppe warriors. I know it was a japanese film, but there was just TOO many japanese customs in the movie.

original turkics (the ones we know 1000 years before we migrated west), were originally a mix of caucasion and central asian. But original owners of the turkic language and culture, race were non- asian= more than 3000 years ago... as early as 5th-6th century..

So you're saying that a lot of today's kazah

are asiatic looking are the result of genghis khan and mongols invasion.Original turks were turanians or some caucasian  with white green,blond with blue eyes?

A kazak friend also told me that original turkics, were not even asian, maybe they were mixed with asians later and adopted the turkic dialect.... some people say that monument may be related to other mongol tribes

I just saw the statue of general gok-turks and he looks freaking mongolian looking.I'm not bullshiting,I saw his statue and thats what he looks to me.
