It would be fun to use a skidcar during driver´s education, but in here Sweden we usually use water soaked special asphalt to simulate slippery winter driving (halkkörning).

I have driven the very first skidcar, a solid blue 1988 Volvo 740 GL with automatic transmission. It was probably in 1989 on the Torslanda airfield in Gothenburg, Sweden. As I remember, the height of the car could be adjusted during the drive for increased or decreased tire grip. Great fun!

@Anarchylegend what!? is this the old way or something? took my license 2 years ago and we drove on a big wet test road and you just slide everywhere exactly like driving during the winter. don't know if they have these ice driving roads everywhere but I did it in Malmö

that sucks, in america all you do is drive around the block and park a few times :)

Thats kinda like having a fwd car, putting mcdonalds trays under the rear wheels, and pulling the ebrake.
