Beside¨s the only reason he doesn't use it is because of the fact that his reiatsu is to powerfull for most of the people that he fights so, that's why he got the eyelap on one of he's eye's and that's also why he have the clings in his hair, to make the enemy that his fighting easier for him.

If zaraki had bankai he wouldn't have been that crazy which everybody thinks.
His monster reiatsu powers would probably not be is a huge as they are atm.
