Why did they use such an English, posh announcer for Ulster TV? Could they not find a Northern Irish one? I'm English btw, it's just an observation.

Good old Bill. I remember him once on citybeat sing madonna. He still sounds like that by the way.

The announcer is Bill Smith, who most recently has read the news on Belfast City Beat and the travel reports on U105.
