  • R.I.P. Bill Smith. A true gentleman with a fantastic unmistakable voice. Will be sadly missed.

  • Why did they use such an English, posh announcer for Ulster TV? Could they not find a Northern Irish one? I'm English btw, it's just an observation.

  • Good old Bill. I remember him once on citybeat sing madonna. He still sounds like that by the way.

  • The announcer is Bill Smith, who most recently has read the news on Belfast City Beat and the travel reports on U105.
