  • It's inspiring to see that a soft spoken, thoughtful guy like this made it to the White House in just 13 years.

This could be one of his earliest, quietest campaign videos:

"in times of economic scarcity the politicians in this country want to look for scapegoats, want to organize around race as opposed to around principal or values...and i think that can be countered but it will require grassroots mobilization and work at a local level."

Connie called it: "This is only the beginning."

  • He has always been consistent with his views

  • He knew ... he always knew.

  • She should sell this autographed book on e-bay and then spend the money on making her show look less shitty

  • @Goofysmom2

No offense, but Martinson is an extraordinarily mediocre and inarticulate interviewer.

  • why no have more views...????

  • Connie Martinson does a wonderful interview with a young author that brings out evidence of his core beliefs, and his leadership qualities. I have done thousands of shows with this amazing woman who readily admits to preferring to read a good book to doing anything else. This interview was 4 years before I began 10 years ago as Connie's intern, on camera. I quickly became her stage mgr, camera and more. I had a nasty fall last year breaking both hips and pelvis, on bed rest for such a long year.

  • barack looks cute here... how old is he here.. about 34??
