I used to live a block away from Raceway. When I didn't go, I'd sit out in the back yard & listen to them on Friday & Saturday nights back in the late '50's & early '60's. My family moved to AZ in 1963. I moved back a few years later; went every chance I could.
What division did your Dad race in? I may have been there the night he raced. I have some programs from the nights I went.
My cousin raced there, too. You might have heard of him: Bud Koehler, #77? He's in the still photo above.
OMG raceway park i loved going there as a kid I had a family friend who raced in the races. -Jeff treptow- I cant member his car number though. This audio just makes me think of so many memories there.

This audio brings me back big time. What a great track with great racing. Didn't channel 26 wciu broadcast racing from raceway park once in a while. I wonder if that footage still exsists?

Heard it still may exist but have never seen it. I got a bunch of DVD's with Raceway footage from the 50's up until the last year of 2000 if interested.
