Festival d'Aurillac 2010 - Eternal in/out

"Eternal in/out" est le troisième volet d'une trilogie entamée par la
compagnie en 2005 sur le thème de l'ange et de la chute. L'ange, non
pas vu sous l'angle du divin et du religieux, mais comme métaphore de
la perdition de l'individu dans les villes tentaculaires contemporaines.
Des villes perçues ici comme des dédales d'informations et de technologie.
Des villes signes. Le premier volet de la trilogie ("Body Without Wings"
- 2005) traitait plus particulièrement de la chute et de la pulsion, le
deuxième volet ("Insomnia" - 2007) du trouble psychique. Ici, "Eternal
in/out" (2008/2009) traite spécifiquement de la perte au travers de la
frénésie et de la quête d'éternité. Perte de soi, perte de l'autre, perte de
sens, perte d'équilibre, perte de direction jusqu'à la perte de la vie même.
Mêlant la performance, l'installation vidéo, le théâtre physique et la musique
vivante, la cie traque le beau comme le point d'attraction fascinatoire qui
maintient le spectateur, suspendu entre attraction et répulsion.

"Eternal in/out" is the third part of a trilogy started by the company in 2005
on the issue of the angel and his fall. The angel, not considered as divine
or religious, but as a metaphor of the perdition of the human being in the
contemporary and perniciously expanding cities. Cities felt here as information
and technology mazes.
Cities as signs. The first part of the trilogy ("Body Without Wings" - 2005) dealt
more particularly with the fall and the impulse, the second part ("Insomnia" -
2007) with the psychic disorder. "Eternal in/out" (2008-2009) deals specifically
with the loss through frenzy and the quest for eternity. Self-loss, loss of the
other, loss of meaning, loss of balance, loss of direction until the loss of life
itself.
Mixing performance, video setting, physical theatre and living music, the
company tracks down the beautiful as a fascinating attraction point holding
the spectator between attraction and repulsion.
