That's amazing! Beautiful tornado, too -- I've never seen one that was as horizontal as those on this day (except for a couple as they were roping out). Were you looking straight up? Cool perspective!

@greenskychaser - yes it was pretty much directly overhead. You could hear the vortex spinning plain as day which I don't think was captured in the video sound.

That is an incredible piece of video! I watched your longer vid of this same nader, but totally missed the bird action. What type of moronic bird was this, do you think? I wonder if he was actually drawn into the vortex by some inflow-type of action? And you're right.....he was SHOT outta there! Too funny.

Great video and unusual vortex. If that was really a bird I think he was a goner. It looked like he may have been slam-dunked into the ground.
