no to dissimilar from mccandles. but i didnt go into the wild. mhe discovered that happiness only real when shared. i discovered that too, while hitching though ireland.
i once thought it cheesy to say a film inspired me, but now i say it with pride.

Instead of only western philosophers and poets he should have also included an even deeper study with George Ohsawa's macrobiotics. (five thousand year old eastern yin-yang wisdom).
He would have been less foolish and better prepared.

@ALLinALLgood you are wrong, go back and watch that part, they don't shout it out, but it is there, and even if they didn't the movie still is amazing and Chris understood more before he died then i think most people do right now. Please love instead of hate.
