  • Hi Christina, what would be the thickest size chipboard you could safely use in the cricut machine using the deep-cut blade?

  • @ozegran I'm not sure of the exact thickness, but I would say a lightweight chipboard would word. I also use poster board too. they work great. Hugs, C

  • can this cut through foam like thin foam

  • @coolcoasterdude14 I'm not really sure. I never tried :)

  • Can you tell me if this will cut through a gift card? Fingers crossed!

  • @womanatwittsend It depends on how thick the gift card is...Christina

  • I have an intricate design I want to make as stencil on vinyl. Can you suggest settings, etc. for this project? I want to do glass etching on votive candle glasses. My design measures 4.25" wide by 1.25" high. If necessary, do I change the size within the project itself or on the cricut?

  • how would you know what depth to set when working with diffrent thickness of chipboard???

  • Thanks. I was to afraid to try. LOL

  • you MUST use the deep cut housing for the deep cut blade
