for a referendum to go ahead the minions of the london based parties would have to vote pass a referendum bill in the Scottish parliament..

from ALL the parties.. labour...tory and fub dums the retort is the same.. they would ALL vote against a referendum happening..... this is because their london bosses crack the whip and they toe the line......

those are the facts and not just loose opinion

again having actually BEEN to the Falklands you will find that if they were given a vote, they would stay under london rule.

do you think Scotland should be given a chance to vote on independence ? or was the falklands reference just a specious argument?

well truth is it was english gold that BOUGHT the Scottish parliament at the time.

the parliament was also illegally convened and thus , in truth the act of the union in Scotland isn't a legal document.

Personally i don't dig royalty so any queen/king means nothing to me. why should an accident of birth place someone as my head of state? not a chance,

and keep the Falklands for strategic sheep purposes. having been there i know Scotland would not need it or want it.

One misconception a lot of Scots have is that the English want them to remain part of the union. We don't.

The majority of English people would gladly end the union. The UK is no longer necessary.

David Kerr was a very brave man to stand in this election.....He was disadvantaged by not being first choice. His party had never done much better than 15%. Labour had held the seat for 74 years, but none of these obstacles stopped him from taking up the challenge.....

Dear foolishned' one is not arguing with one old chap! One is just stating a fact' Truth hurts sometimes' but we just have to accept it or ignore it!

I dont know where your getting your information from but its not fact!

If england for instance was to depart from the british empire' does that mean Scotland,wales or northern Ireland owns the rights to the Falklands?? Or does this still belong to her majesty the qween of england and her empire!!
