Coming back form South America I was not allowed to board a plane with my $180 Johnnie Walker Blue Label, even though the bottle was purchased in Duty Free and I never left the security area. Instead of relinquishing the bottle to US Customs I drank as much as I could and opted to pour it out.

  • Couldn't you have done the Gentlemanly thing and offered it to someone else? Someone who worked at the airport perhaps? Someone who perhaps would never have otherwise had a chance to taste a $180 bottle of scotch? Someone who might've really needed it? Pouring it down the drain out of spite just seems . . . selfish.

I am sensitive to what a drag that was for you, but it would've made a much better video. But now here we all are, watching you do . . . nothing. Better luck next time, Charlie.

  • wow thats terrible when I read the title I thought he was just gona use it as a mixer

  • fuck you asshole the best whisky wasting

  • NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

  • You better have drank some of it before you sent it down the drain...

  • I don't know a ton about duty free, but I figure that you would have been able to keep it if you were arriving in South America to stay there. How did they let you buy it in the first place if you were coming back into the states? Aren't they supposed to check your ticket or something? Still a shame.
