  • Duct temperature is almost as important as flu temperature. You need another probe in the air ducts to maintain air discharge temperatures as well, 180 degree discharge air is a borderline fire concern as well.

  • @ajofscott Thanks for the advice. I will have to put a probe in the ducts & think about how i can prevent the forced hot air from exceeding 180°F (if it does). My heat exchanger blower is a 1-speed Dayton squirrel cage blower from Grainger. Wonder if another in tandem would be called for....hmmm.
