  • Thanks all, glad you enjoyed it. This animation was done for a pharmaceutical company to teach the pathophysiology of Diabetic Nephropathy. There are a few other Diabetic disease-state animations on the 3FXanimation channel. We've posted whatever we were allowed to post so far. And sorry, we cannot post the script from the video, but if you google the disease you should find plenty of info on the subject. Thanks again!

  • Thankfully, there is a dietary prevention method for these complications. It is simply to follow a very-low carbohydrate diet to help normalize blood pressure and reduce hyperglycemia.

  • And sadly, even without being diabetic, hypertensive patients are at risk for the same renal-failure-causing damage. "Glomulearsclerosis" is "the hardening of the gloumeruli, just like hardening of the arteries...which often marks the beginning of ESRF or ESRD unless you stop the kidney damage from getting worse....
