To measure a man's suit size, lay the suit out flat and measure across the chest before measuring the pants waist and inseam. Get an accurate measurement for a man's suit with a demonstration from a self-taught seamstress in this free video on sewing.

  • Though the chest measures 42 inches, it is not a size 42. It is a size 38. 4 inches is always added in the chest from the suit size. A suit with a 42-inch chest marked as a size 38 fits someone with a 38-inch chest.

  • I just wanna ask how to calculate the total cost of dress using the measurements of the body..is it depends on the total meters being used?thnx(sorry for my english)
