@mixpeak1 I TOTALLY Agree with u. GT2 was the BEST!
GT5 sucked (if we think of its development time). Here are the reason:
1) XP/Leveling System (WTF was that? It is a driving sim. Lvl instead of licenses to unlock events)
2) Licenses are decorative only (WTF? x2)
3) Endurances unlock in the end (WTF? x1000)
4) B-Spec has its own events which led to reducing (DRAMATICALY) the number of A-Spec events (WTF were they thinking of creating B-Spec at ALL)
And the list goes on...

Forza is much more fun. I dont know why, but playing Gran Turismo is a bit like driving a Lambroghini in a traffic jam. It's has so much potential but the developers trys to limit our experience

I never knew how much Gran Turismo had evolved over the years!It's just amazing looking back at all the games that have been created.I actually decided to play Gran Turismo 2 and I could not belive how diffrent the games were

GT5 had such a long development time and I did really expect more from the game.
Overall the game is solid,but still lacks a lot and it kinda just doesn't feel like the old GT games.
Lets hope for a better GT6 back to the roots edition.
