Sir, you are a very tallented and exellent musician.

Personally I think this version is kinda slow and "technical".... the freshness of that song is missing here, it sounds even boring.

after months of searching, i found this video again! oh wow..it's nice to sleep after a delightful atmosphere of ragtime.. oh wow.. such wonderful version!

Wow!! He is very very good...I like the tempo and the style...¡PERFECT! Very good rubato :D

Very nice to hear it played at the same tempo that Scott Joplin used, as heard on piano rolls.
Thank-you for posting this one.

He has his own CD for sale if anyone's interested. "Joplin - The Greatest Hits Vol. 1", and it has 29 favorite joplin tunes. I'm not sure if it's still available, as I bought a copy several years ago.
One of my favorite rags to listen to and play. 5*
Wonderful! This is the way ragtime was meant to be played. Everyone should put a little of their own into a performance of a rag. I had never heard of John until I saw this video, but he certainly seemed to really have ragtime down. A very stately version of my favorite Joplin rag. So sorry to hear he's not with us anymore. Thanks for sharing.

I always wanted to have an effortless knowledge of the piano like this, but never found to put in the time. I definitely love hearing it. :) Thanks for posting!
