"Alligator Man" was the sixth song in the Puddle City set videotaped at Frankenstein's Tavern in 1971. It wasn't originally on the set list, but we got an urgent ($10) request for it (see "Puddle City Bluegrass Band -- The Request Form in Action!"), so. . .

We learned Alligator Man from the playing of the Greenbrier Boys, a bluegrass band from Peter's home town. The Puddle City line-up for this song is, left to right: Peter Langston / Mandolin, Greg Booth / Fiddle, Chris Montague / Bass, & Sharyle Patton / Guitar.
