Sick Praying Mantis

This poor mantis was found outside. Her legs turned black and she gnawed them off at the ends. She's having a hard time walking now :(

I get a lot of comments asking if she bites... only her dinner and her boyfriends, A Praying Mantis, even a wild one is VERY unlikely to ever bite or pinch a human, I've handled hundreds and never once been hurt.

I wish mantids lived more than a few months, they're such beautiful and ADORABLE creatures in every way. Though it's just anthropomorphism, they have a real air of intelligence to them.
