@vlatkito please stop no she didn't she wrote to the African slaves how can she write for someone who hasn't had nearly the same amount of suffering as those who were in bondage once again find your own inspiration her poem means exactly what it means if she wanted to say gay Asian and etc she would of said that because Mrs angelou is know for saying exactly what she means so once again please stop your both wrong

@mwj12487 no she is talking to black people find your own poem and your own struggles are yours not ours stop trying to use the black struggle as a crutch to help your own its not the same. someone cant just automatically guess someone is gay unless they behave that way but being black is something that is always there
