BTW im talkin about a sea invasion type of scenario.. wich i assumte to be LVTH6 ´s main role..
if it is to continue to fight afterwards as an IFV ..this camo might a handicap in a bush type terrain..
maybe they chose to paint it because its side armor is so large in are that makes it a good test subject for digital patterns..
i dunno..

@timawanet the word here is specificity..
this is a marines amphibious vehicle. this camo tries to blend in with an ocean background.. so that forces on land or DISTANT ships cant see it or make out their numbers, also a person manning a coastal Gun or defense will have more trouble seeing and zeroing in specially..with naked eye
its intended to maximize survivability.. not intended for close range..
there are many others to fill that gap..
and i bet its an experimental pattern..

AFP proudly presents this. hahaha

ang laki nang porma ang hina tumira...ang ingay pa dapat sa JUNKSHOP NA YAN!

It's noah's arc.. but much cooler.

dear philipines marine corps,
your floating refrigerator...oops no, i mean your amphibios vehicle are too primitive and outdated...
its the time to replace it with more latest and advance vehicle such LVTP-7, or at least the cheap one BMP-3

looks like it says lol on the side :/

@timawanet Actually the US navy in world war one, found out big splotches work better at long range. Small splotchy like on a solders uniform are for short range.
-
Bit large to be affective on any modern day battlefield.

Looks like a modern Char B1 Bis...
its a good idea, but looks like shit. you need to make the digital parts MUCH smaller for it to work...otherwise all you see is a brown tank with blue spots and a buncha L's

Definitely NOT! The whole point of the camo sceme is to break up the outline of the vehicle. If you make the pattern smaller then from a distance you would still have a discernible shape. The colors would just blend into gray.
