the only problem with these kinds of cards is that the recipient has no idea that they have to twist it upward and so on. If I got it in the mail I wouldn't know what to do with it.

@hg1bbs We made one of these last night at a workshop I attended. We put a loop of ribbon on the very top of the smallest circle layer - gives the recipient something to pull, to extend the card, and it also works as a hanging loop should you want to hang it up!
