Also the firemen truck is there on minute 1:03. That a minute to respond. A minute respond is incredible fast.

@ polskich, That is not true, Munich Firefighters are one of the fastest in the world @ International Airports! I know as I work there! The MUC Firemen held the "TOP SPEED REORD" in the WORLD!!! Do you have further details about this incident? ie. When did the Pilot/Co-Pilot report the "Fire On Board", did the fire break-out after landing? etc., I would recomment that one should check their facts before writing comments that they have very little information about!!! Nnek@ ;o)

those crash trucks are all power most will do 0-60mph in like 10 seconds so most airports thats a 2-3 min response time once they get the call

Before you comment fire brigade reaction time please see fire accident at Naha Airport in Japan...

polskich > "It took to long for the fire crew to reach this aircraft"
Are you kidding? This fire occurred on the runway with no advanced warning. Given that, firefighters getting to their vehicles & to the aircraft on runway in only a few moments, at an huge airport like Munich, is amazingly fast. Without that quick response, this fire would have been much worse. The aircraft crew also deserve some recognition in this regard for getting passengers off quickly & safely.

I suppose polskich doesnt know how big airports are in Germany. If you ever landed in Frankfurt airport for example, its 10 KM long. You can take the train inside so big it is.
Very fast reaction time on the part of the firefighters! Passengers still evacuating, and they were already there! Assuming fire started about 30sec before beginning of this video, that was about a 2-minute response. Takes 30 sec to relay message, another 30 sec to run to fire engine, get in, get moving. So about 60 sec to get maybe a mile to the plane. Hauling ass! No lollygagging there! Bravo!
