Basically, the government did not allow any members of the opposition to be part of the official Canadian delegation to the UN Conference on Climate Change in Durban, South Africa. Opposition members had to pay their own way to go to the conference.

i think trudeau could have been a little more more specific. the conservative party has a broad spectrum of pieces of shit, examples being the "steaming wet turd" (Peter Kent), to the "hugely offensive drainblocking log" (John Baird) to the "sick little turd" (Jim Flaherty) to the fetid decomposing bloody logjam of half digested roadkill (Stephen Harper). What is so bad about the country we once were? Harper's government is corrupt, and does not permit the other representatives to have any say in debates. The reason why the conservatives won the majority was because of a split vote between the Liberals and the NDP. Also, the percentages also favoured the conservatives, but only by nine percent. Truth is, the people voted sixty percent for left-wing politics.

The people didn't speak, the electoral system spoke. Do some more research.
