  • I NEVER get tired of seeing this. I'll NEVER forget seeing a Space Shuttle launch up close and person several years ago. All the effort that goes into something like this is amazing. The other amazing part is that there are several astronauts on-board this craft; headed for orbit around Earth. Awesome. Go U.S.A. !

  • I saw it up close in Titusville last night. It was my first night launch and It was amazing.

  • it still amazes me that there are people attached to that rocket leaving the planet, truly an awe inspiring moment!

  • this video was awsome to me it felt like i was riding the space shuttle

  • Now compare to the apollo 11 saturn v launch. this is so much more graceful and efficient, what will it look like in another 40 years?

  • I was there i saw that launch!!!

  • Great launch. I hope we get HD videos of Ares rocket launches as well!

  • Always awesome. Always great.

  • i made it to 50 and us-1 just in time as it took off. what an awesome sight and sound when up close

  • What makes this even more amazing is the fact that the ISS is a joint effort of scientist and astronauts from many nations who work together for the betterment of all mankind.

I'm not very fond of military rituals, but I salute the brave men and women who put their lives at risk, and especially those who did perish during their missions, to build a better future for all of us.

  • It was visible from where I live.

I was listening on the radio. As soon as the countdown reached zero I saw this orange glow on the horizon behind the trees. After ten seconds this big fire ball rose from behind the trees. It was very bright.

Even after the Solid Rocket Boosters detached you could still see it.

  • A Perfect Launch !!!
