Conversation by the window from the Terminator 1 soundtrack. Composed by the amazing Brad Fiedel. The Terminator theme is the best film theme ever written in mine opinion. It contains a lot of emotion. It feels like there is no hope for the humun being and we lost the world because of our inventions. But still this theme gives hope somehow. Just incredible ...
You must be a genius to compose a theme like this. Also Brad Fiedel is a master in editing his own theme in different styles, like he does in T2. He really 'improves' this theme by using other rhythms and different instruments. Although they are still electric. But I really don't mind. I was really disappointed that he didn't composed T3. I read that there was a small chance that he came back. But the director of T3 wanted a real orchestra so Fiedel past :-- (
Also it is really disappointed that he composed not much. I think he would be even bigger than Hans Zimmer is now :P
It is hard to find something about Brad Fiedel on the internet. Once there was a facebook account of Brad Fiedel. And I read a nice story about that. There was a boy who wanted to become a filmcomposer so he visited Fiedel. I believe his mom was familiar with someone who was a friend of Fiedel. So when he visited his studio. He said that he has an amazing studio and that he still composes music =D Unfortenately not for movies. Brad advised the boy not to become a film composer due the amount of work pressure etc. Of course the boy still wanted to become a film composer :P
Unfortenately I can't find this story on facebook anymore :--( But I really read that. Also I watched a video (that I uploaded too) were a Japanese reporter interviews Brad Fiedel. You can see that Fiedel is older than he composed T2. Because I also saw some interviews of him back in 1992 (T2). Also I can see that on the computer screen windows XP (launched in 2001) on that video :P
And the piece that he plays before the Japanese reporter enters his studio is fenomenal. I really would like to buy his work somewhere. Hopefully he sells it somewhere on the internet. Or maybe someone can help me finding it. I would be very grateful for that. Or maybe I should write him a letter =D
Also I have to thank Ray Juden for this outstanding arrangement!! I already made a piano arrangement of this piece. But at that time I didn't have a digital sound recorder and I didn't have this digital recorder. Now I have added strings and a French Horn and some adjustments thanks to Ray :--) I think it is a great piece, composed by a great composer and a great arranger. I really hope you enjoy this one =D
My favourite!!! =) Great performance

Greetings from a new viewer in South Florida,
thanks to Rob (TruePiano1) who knows how
much I love film composition. Your Channel is
beautifully organized and is as informative as
it is melodic. I'm SO excited to find T. Newman
among your illustrious Pentavirate, and also
J. Hisaishi among honorable mentions. I hope
you may also consider Jeff Beal, also. This
video makes for a stellar intro to what you
offer us here. Thanks and best wishes, ~Terry

@BocaFriend Thanks Terry! I am happy to hear you like T.Newman and J. Hisaishi. They are fenominal! I am not really familair with Jeff Beal's work. Do you have some recommendation from some of his work?
Thanks in advance! I will also take a look at schnurpselback's account! Maybe he has some great suites of Jeff Beal :-) See ya!

Hey Noud! This is absolutely a professional video! As always your love for film composers and the respect for them is just totally apparent here. You breathe life into every dynamic. And I love the superimposition of you playing the strings. Keep up the good work Noud. I will have to check each and everyone of your uploads eventually. With admiration and respect, Rob.

@TruePiano1 Hehe, thanks Rob for take a listen to this video! And I am really glad you like this performance! But without Ray I wasn't able to do this. So all credits go to him :-) And yes the respect for filmcomposers is very very high but also for the arrangers who makes it possible to play the best filmthemes on the piano. Thanks again for your kind words!
