I took the train in 2006 January and I never did it again. It was a loooooooooonnnng ride from Los Angeles to Palm Springs. Yes, my train was almost 3.5 hours late. I could drive back and forth from Los Angeles to Palm Springs for almost twice. The return trip from Palm Springs to Los Angeles was even worse. The train was over 6 hours late. When I got back to Los Angeles was 5pm. Take the bus, it is faster than Amtrak.

I grew up in palm springs about 2 miles from that station, hole in the wall,underground.

I loved your video and I admire your patience... the winds and the sand and the heat gets annoying especially if you are not from around there, but the sunset makes it up.
I will subscribe and I hope you make more videos like this, you should take a look at the Santa Ana train station... I like the Architecture of the place.
