Haha...awesome!! Yeah, we found ours far from water also. They fly at night to different water sources, but they get exhausted. Have fun with the waterbug. They don't live to long!

Feeding a piranha a goldfish is not cruel, its why piranha have razor sharp teeth, they are a carnivore. Same reason why this bug has its own hunting mechanism. Its not cruel in any way, its how the creature eats its food, very likely it would NOT eat "dry pet food" that bug is a carnivore. You need to understand the food chain before calling something cruel.

Wow!! I'm glad to hear that someone else understands the food chain. Without a proper food chain, most lifeforms would cease to exist. The mini's (little fish) came from a local stream where the water bug lives. Thanks for the comment.
