Kanye West - Love LockDown Live Action/Animation

So this was a idea that me and my friend thought about and decided to make it a reality. The video took 3 1/2 months to be made. All of the animation, directing, effects, editing, and etc. were all done by me. Our perception on the song was that a man is in love with a woman but couldn't be with her because he feels that he can't "keep himself and keep her too". I made the animation to go along with the lyrics of the song so just pay attention to what the lyrics are saying and you shouldn't be confused. This is my first time making a animation so you'll have to forgive me if it's not well done. This video is a tribute to Kanye West. I hope he gets to see the video so he can see how he inspired 2 of his fans off of this song. Credit also goes out to Takashi Murakami also.


Programs Used:

Adobe Premiere 2.0 - Used to put the pictures together to create the animation.

Adobe Photoshop CS3 - Used to draw the pictures and color them with the Wacom tablet.

3Ds Max Studio 9 - Used to create the speakers

Adobe After Effects CS3 - Used to bring both animation and live action together, and to create effects and the credits.

Do you remember seeing Kanye perform this live for the first time at the MTV Music Video Awards? That good feeling I got from the song, the exciting vibe, you guys came pretty close to capturing the exact emotion again for me. Not bad for a first-time project, son.
