This movie doesn't really stand up when compared to the other big sci-fi and fantastic films made through the fifties: scenes are cliché and some scenes remind us of old acts by James Dean

@FuyuAkiWorld I wouldn't call myself lucky. This movie scared the crap out of me so bad that I had to sleep with my mommy! Yes, the scare factor sucks now with all the special effects. Though I still think the creepiest movie of all time is The Shining.

@runly1 you're so lucky. My parents weren't even born then. I realy wish i would of seen this back then. the scare factor has decreased in the past 50 years due to new fangled special effects and stuff like that.
