Denominational Chaos

Compare what people do in denominations with what the Bible says about worship. Denominationalism is getting more and more chaotic. God said let all things be done decently and in order!

The difference is that the "order" specifically being spoken of here is regarding Church Meetings or Worship Service if you will. Start at verse 26 in I Cor 14.

I've noticed that once you quote unfamiliar scripture to Church of Christ folk (which is 90 % of the Bible) they disappear - they are not up for much of a debate when one can so easily burst the limited repertoire of verses which they use to support their errant theology.

They have much more interest in "being right" than in "knowing the TRUTH" Pretty sad how they EMBRACE THEIR DOGMA rather than Jesus Christ!

If the Church of Christ is the REAL CHURCH, why can't the Church of GOD make the same claim RE: Acts 20:28

"Be shepherds of the CHURCH OF GOD, which he bought with his own blood."

Sounds like maybe you are BOTH the REAL CHURCH so why not MERGE, you can save on the electric and water bill, and they have guitars and pianos so the singin' will be better!

I've personally never read one thing written by Campbell, and yes, he's just a man....your point? If you can't see that Christ founded the church in scripture and it is His church, purchased with His blood, that He will save, then I can't say much more other than study a little more and show yourself approved before God, you're almost saved

When did I come in contact with the blood of Christ? That's easy - Eph2:4-5 "But God, ......even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ - by grace you have been saved.

I was spiritually dead, BUT GOD made me alive; he freed me from my bondage to sin so that I was able to respond in faith and repentence, and receive forgiveness and assurance of eternal life.

I forgot that for you guys GRACE & ASSURANCE OF SALVATION are not high on the "legalist" list.
