This is exactly what we need! We need Muslims and religeous people living in free and secular countries to defend everyones rights to practice their own religeon (or lack thereof) without being subjugated or persecuted for doing so. No one has the right to shape a society to fit their own religeous ideal at the expense of everyone elses rights. Even having a state religeon goes too far. India is a great example of a highly religeous society that has achieved the ideal of pluralism and secularism

@trg12345 - The credibility of the Hadiths truthfully needs to be questioned as the sources for their contents are suspect at best! These writings were compiled several centuries after the death of Muhammad; and they may have been efforts by manipulators to infiltrate the faith. From what I've heard, the Hadiths have a similar tone as the Talmud.

Irshad's remark comparing secularism versus theocracy might be better if she had compared liberty to autocracy.

I think Muslims who love theocracies need to experience theocracies of other religions because they're too stupid to realise that mixing religion with government causes oppression of minorities because the majority doesn't give a shit. Arguing with foos like you is like talking to the brainwashed about how money shouldn't influence government or politics- duh, corporate take over.
