The great man was contented to just sit behind Aussie elite Craig Mottram until the final stretch where he just so easily passed the leader. Check out the leg turnover of the short man!

In my opininon, there is only so much training can do for someone who is not built for running. The true champions are born with the legs for it and with that hard work, can accoplish great things.

That is the tactics of running. It isn't easy just to sit behind someone. It still takes a lot of work.

There's few things I appreciate more than seeing such a friendly greeting between countries after a track race

Some perspective: One time in my sophomore year, I led my entire 1200 leg in the DMR. Some guy who tried to draft off of me for the entire race (I doubt it worked, I must have been a foot shorter than him) went out into lane two on the last hundred meters and said "And turnover!" and outkicked me. True Story.

Nobody is born as a champion people like haile become champions,

he said he ran every day 10 k to get to school and 10 k back home,by saying that

you make look his effort, power and courage like it dont belong to him,he wasnt

born like that he became the great atlhete he is and any champion will tell you that.

at least he had to work for it, you could tell Haile was really giving it everything he had. I've been in Mottram's situation many a time (sometimes I win, sometimes I lose) and as much as it sucks to lose, It's led me to some big PRs.
