I understand your pain, I've had migraines for 21 years and my problem is rebound headaches. I will be going in the hospital soon to detox off the pain meds. I've detoxed several times but always get hooked again. This time I will detox under the doctors care instead of on my own. I hope yours have stopped.

@CSouthCac Detox was awful and rebound headaches was my problem as well. Detox was like getting off of a hard drug. I was vomiting, sick to my stomach, had the chill but sweating like crazy. I was just bad. All I was taking was Motrin and Excedrin but I had to take it every 8 and 4 hours. It was like this for and entire year. I never stopped taking them and the headaches never stopped. I did detox myself and I was out of commission for and entire week. I was just getting out of an abusive

@kerry31088 Relationship when it started and my neurologist believed that is what triggered my initial migraine in the first place and I just kept feeding my rebound headaches with more meds. I'm ok now. I get them sometimes but I take meds then try and sleep it off when I can...

I had my headaches for a year nonstop. I was taking so much pain medicine and that was my problem. My doctor said I was probably getting stress headaches (I was in an abusive relationship when at the time) and he said I started taking a lot of pain pills for the pain and after a while I became immune to the pills and when that has even the smallest pain can feel like a nightmare. However, he made me stop taking the tylenol and motrin and I actually had withdraws. I was sick and vomiting.

@kerry31088 It was awful. So no matter what you do go see a doctor and don't take too many pain pills...
