Nice closedown music, and not a bad evening line-up either - I'd watch it over the garbage they put on ITV these days!
-
24h tv is rubbish it's just an excuse for signed repeats of the daytime output, trashy sh*tty films and the oh so boring "like watching paint dry" ITV nightscreen if I had my way there would be NO TV-am,NO sign zone on BBC and I would still closedown and switch off transmitters late at night.

Can someone tell me when Emmerdale moved from 5.15pm ON Thames to 7pm slot?
-
The Closedown Music featured, Anglia used on mainly Breakdown captions too

"We're back at 9.25, also in the AM part of the day." That's be 9.25am or "9.25 in the morning" then.

@AnthonyUK ...and then get to work on reversing the crap-fest that is ILR!
-
Amazing quality for a VHS tape of it's age.

how come it says the a team? werent that on saturday?
-
@treffynnon19 This was used on a Channel 4 trade test tape.
-
@AnthonyUK Good idea!!

@JauntyOne87 That rubbish may bring in advertising revenue but much of it is just SHIT! If I was in charge of the IBA I would have resisted the lure of 24h broadcasting and still shutdown late at night than fill the overnight hours with mindnumbing crap!
-
@AnthonyUK You say that, but if only you knew the revenue these gambling/shopping placements bring
Perhaps Rillington2000 meant 1998?

24h tv has just become a graveyard for repeats quizcall type shows and general dull rubbish! If I opened a tv station today it would closedown as soon as the last programme has ended after a quick weather forecast and a quick look at the following day's programmes then a prog menu and music final fade to the current time on the clock and fade to black with colour bars and stereo test-tone to transmitter shutdown.
