Pokemon Battle Revolution Wi-Fi Battle 159

This is the first battle using my new doubles team I've been working on.

I might make some team mate changes however as the planned strategy with Qwilfish didn't work out because I didn't realise that Qwilfish could only learn Swords Dance through a 3rd gen move tutor. This my old Ludicolo, just replaced Surf with Energy Ball.

I used Sableye, Qwilfish, Ludicolo and Xatu

My opponent used Aerodactyl, Swellow, Empoleon and Espeon

i know swellows burn will increase its facade but  it will lower its atk power to

No, that's a common misconception, Burn does not lower the attack of pokemon with the Guts ability.

Great battle, I enjoyed watching your new team :)

My personal favorite was actually Xatu, who IMO can deal heavy damage with what you gave it! That critical in the final turn didn't matter haha.

I like the Sableye too. Sucker Punch is something I wanted to use for my own but in the end I chose Night Shade because I was too afraid of people not attacking/switching after status. They do a great job at annoying others!

Thanks, I've always been a Xatu fan, wanted an excuse to use one.

Sucker Punch on Sableye has failed me a couple of times so far, but has been pretty useful other times like in this battle so it's kinda 50-50 lol.

@twister291990 EV training is about hidden points that make specific stats of your pokemon higher. you optain this points by beating any pokemon, but however every pokemon gives you diverent EV points (like beating regice gives + 3 SD EV) you can get a maximum of 510 Evs in total (over 1 pokemon) and 255 Evs on one stat

full Evs on a stat adds something arround +40% to that stat

check out "psypokes.com" everything would be explained there what you need to know about pokemon

I fought this person before, but they didn't use their espeon, they used their electivire
