why do people in america and britain take out loans? It's to buy material objects and get bigger and better houses. Are you seriously comparing THAT, to the people living in extreme poverty? America is in debt because of consumer greed. These people have absolutely nothing. These loans are to help people make a life for themselves. They have no education - they can't get a propper job now can they.

@loudbrit Yes that is absolutely true I am a financial analyst student in India. My first job project is to research on the microcrdit banks like Grameen banks in Bangladesh. These banks are just there to help the poor people but they also are an davantage for greedy capitalists.

@loudbrit you might call them greedy, honestly I used to call all big business men greedy but not any more because i realized i abrogated the idea of big capital people for the out most reason that they have more money than me. I dont think all people realize why they hate them: they hate them because they have more money than them. The microcredit banks are not about big business. If the gap of the poor are not controlled, then the small business will have no customers either.

They show that in the future the amount of poor people will grow in immense amount compared to the poor that are in our present day. The big business who supports the microcredit banks knows that if they want to keep profiting they will need customers who can buy their products, if something is not done big business will collapse then there will be no more customers at all

I was referring to someone comparing the situation of these bengalis to that of America genius. I don't think buying a car to do their groceries is of the highest priority to these people. Don't try and justify the acquisition of loans in western civilization with such nonsense. These people can walk for miles just to find some water and you're comparing their financial situation with yours as if you can't survive without a car. Shit man you really need to open your eyes.
