americans consume something like ten times the amount of resources as people in the 'third world' and contribute %40 of the worlds air pollution. the growth of the us economy is based on this waste and over-consumption. we can make the choice if the viable alternatives are allowed to flourish

ending farm subsidies, legalizing hemp, currency that reflects production not destruction (coal mining v sun)
