  • The Germans did not start to prosecute Jews but they took it to the next level.

  • @yourtreat2 Having read your remarks I have to say that I suspect I could get all of your understanding, all your actual learning, of the trials and tribulations of daily life, within the walls of the Warsaw Ghetto, in a thimble......... and still have room for my thumb. The bleating of the Black American Race Card is rarely viable, Even more rarely logical, and as such is wholly irrelevant in this case. A small waste of effort and bandwidth.

  • @yourtreat2 Stop whining! Do you have a cell phone? Color TV? Obviously you at least have access to a computer, probably have one in your own home. Try living in the Sudan or just about anywhere in Africa. Why don't you try WORKING instead of whining about how little the government gives you! I won't respond because these comments are supposed to be about "Shoah," not how awful YOUR life is. You are alive, be grateful!

  • @dovie2blue You are obviously not poor, and entirely ignorant about how "we take care of our poor"

Try living on $140 cash per mth & $200 EBT, WHILE homeless & Medicate Part D only.

No Medicare if you 1) have not earned 20 points 4 of the past 10 years before taking Soc. Sec., or becoming disabled, or filing for Social Services. THIS assistance is limited to a LIFETIME TOTAL of 5 years.

The latest US Census shows 1 in 6 live in poverty, but it's closer to 1 in 5 as many ppl avoid the Census.

  • By "manage the ghettos," of course he means their job was to keep the Jews inside and see to it that a lot of them starved to death.

  • @benz500r The word is "persecute."

  • @yourtreat2 The word "ghetto" has been misused in this case. Our poor in the cities are wealthy compared to the wealthy of other nations. We take care of our poor. We do not persecute one particular religion, imprisoning its people in fenced communities, preparing them to die in gas chambers and have their corpses desecrated by burning. You see, YOU can get out of the "ghetto," or the occupants can leave the ghetto, but there was only one way out for Jews, and both were through death.

  • the point is to SEE suffering is it not?

  • comment below:

you can't compare this to anything now ... have some respect for this unprecedented story of suffering

  • Per Shoah (film) - Part 55/58 from time 1:00 to 1:10 - My comment would have been, and still is... Here in the U.S, a large percentage of our own Capital city is an ghetto. Only blocks from the White House people live in poverty. I'd not consider a ghetto in a Capital city to be unusual by historical standards, nor is it justifiable!!! So, I would ask, "Aren't we a bit self-righteous to think of our glorious nation as one without starvation, and a large ghetto in our Capital city?"
