Hey man, great tut. Will you being any on lower bass for trance? and pads. Could really use some help on these! Plus that kick you use, is that from a sample pack i can buy from somewhere?

One note about the attack: I find it is a mistake to totally omit all attack.
I suggest always leaving a slight attack, unless your sequencer has a randomised swing function (or super-high resolution recording), because you can end up with a muddy mess of clashing sounds just at the very start of each beat.

@therealdebater Thanks for the feedback! This video is very old now, there will be an updated version coming soon. What you say about the attack is very true, and was something I didn't know at the time but is very important. I will keep you updated on your other question too!

awesome video, only problem with it is that your mic and youtube makes the sound sound very different than what i got, and i did everything from scratch to make sure, still it sounds great keep it up, id love for a sub bassline tutorial tho

Hello, could you please make, if you will find some free time, tutorial how to layer basslines? High, sub bassline etc...all mentioned in Igneous01's comment. I'm sure everyone would appreciate it :)
