It is most likely a reference AND a tribute to a very talented man named Richard "Groove" Holmes.
He was a very skilled jazz organ player, famous around the 1980's. He made most of his appearances throughout New Orleans, but that had not stopped his music career from travelling further than he had.

@sewilde Much more likely it's either a reference to Sherlock Holmes or some other smooth character. The something "wicked" coming this way I believe is a play on words as in the 90s "wicked" almost meant good or cool. I think there is also a suggestion that it's dark in a good way. But that's just what I think.
